Calling for rain, the OHC didn't have their fun ride. It ended up only sprinkling so some took the horses out of the trailer and ran them in the ring for a short time. They were there, why not? It ended up being a pretty nice day.
Our local small town holds it's homecoming weekend the last full week of July. There isn't a whole lot going on, food stands, one or two fundraising games. They have a dance and fireworks the last night. They also have a town parade. This year Ken was allowed to join in. He walked behind the EMT ambulance throwing candy for the kids. He got to dress in blues. Boy, he sure is handsome! It must have impressed someone there, he has a date tonight!
We were all proud of him, even his li'l sis Jess
Today after church Tom went out and finished the front fence in the pasture. It looked like rain, but even with a few rumbles it barely sprinkled. He wil have to top off the 4x4's, but the hardest is over.
It really looks nice! And what do you do with the trimmed wood? Don't you know it is a toy for Stanley? Oh, everything is a toy for Stanley!
