repairs

With Rosie so overwhelmed at being left alone this weekend,  she realized that when turned out she can blast through the fence.   I thought she would be happy when Dusty came home and they would be content enough to stay in the pasture.  It had worked since the time we moved them over there last wintere.  No,  she realizes that it is easy to go through when not electrified.  So,  Tom is hooking it all up for the time being.  We were hoping to make it permanent this time, but again, it is fiberglass poles for the time being.   And while out brush hogging the perimeter,   guess who lost his phone?

That wasn't the only repair.  A coon broke into the coop the other night.   Now we have four.   They are our lawn ornements as they don't lay any longer.   Hopefully we will get some layers this fall.

Another theif has been lurking too.   The deer had eaten most of my daylillies before they could even bloom so my driveway again this year is only greenery.   Then when those were gone it moved over to the fruit trees.   Now we have feed bags over them to see if they can be saved.  They ate the leaves and not the branches so we might just be lucky.
