slowly, but sure are a being tied up. I had Ken try his hand at trim work for the bathroom. I had a few pieces that I painted the accent color and had him cut them so I could put them up. I still need trim for around the floor, but it looks much better having a finish of some kind to it.
Over the weekend, Rebekah and some friend from church went on a shopping mission to find dresses for a formal that they will be attending in town next month. We all visited the second hand shops to find wonderful dresses, and some jewelry. Well, that and new sunglasses!
I bought her two dresses, a black A-line that will always be good, and a more straight line brown with pink applique down the front. It sounds a little funky, but you will see when I post pictures later, it really does look nice.
Sunday night I stopped by the house of one of the ladies from our church. She and her sister were wanting to learn the stitch I use to make my perfect square afghan. I like to teach needlework to people who really want to learn. I wish my daughters were two of them.
It was cold enough yesterday to start a fire again, then as that was dwindling I started baking. Six loaves of bread, a tray of prezel sticks, a tray of pepperoni balls that Jess helped with, and homemade mini oreo's.
Today while it is raining, I am going to repot some of my seedlings. It better warm soon so that I can put them outside!
