It was five years ago Sunday morning that my Grandma closed her eyes here and opened them again in Heaven. How can time pass like that? She is the one that taught me how to do my needlework. That took some patience. I used to sleep over when I was little and she would take me to Woolworths for breakfast. We used to eat T.V. dinners in the livingroom, watch ice skating on her huge floor console. Good memories.
Here is a picture taken of us on a way to a wedding for someone she worked with. I was 17. Hmmm....can't remember the year.....
I started decorating for Christmas. We haven't put up the tree yet but I did some unpacking of other things. I took a lot of canvas that my other Grandmother had made over the years and hung them up . You can tell she put in a lot of time making these. I also hung a few strands of lights around the house.
I started on the cookies. Many are * there on the sidebar. I can't believe that I worked all day (in between english and algebra) and still have so many to go!
It's time....two of the ladies are on a joy ride
headed off for the annual date, but this year they will be seeing Charlie. He's a young one. Born in February, he has already started fathering a few little ones. I will leave them up at the other barn about three weeks or so before they return home.

One thing about Christmas.....it always gets me to thinking about loved ones that have gone before us. My parents....my grandparents........a favorite aunt of mine......and several good friends.
God's Blessings,
Amy Jo
