Woke up to a lot of ice this morning! I noticed we had lost our electric sometime during the night, and that threw the coffee pot off. I like my coffee ready in the morning! So while that was perking, I put the dogs out. I could hear horrific cracks all over in the dark. Tom and Ken went out to do the morning chores and said lots of branches and other trees were laying on the frozen fence line so they had to work at it a little before going to work.
Later, we girls went out to finish chores and I walked the lines to free them of more ice. At least it works now.
We have a new addition, well, really a few new additions. Here, we finally have a picture of the new kitties. Mama surprised us the other morning with four new kitties. Orange, black and white, black/grey tiger, and a calico. So tiny, just like guinea pigs!
We also came home Sunday with a new friend for Bob. This is Jack. He came as Baby Boy, but that really had to go. He is a black lab mixed with ….who knows what. He is smaller than Bob, but as Bob was said to be 4, Jack is said to be 2. He looks more like he has Sheppard in him. We were actually contemplating a puppy, had quite a few different ages and sizes out. But Jack seemed to be just right. After getting him home, he was so submissive! I guess that is so much better than overly active or dominant Bob took to him right away.

We did not get enough ice to even notice. Just 7 miles away at my friends, they had a lot. With our little electric netting fences, I am glad for no ice. They just fall down with that stuff on it.
Good to see you found another dog. I hope he works out for you.
My daughter would just drool over those kitties!
i wish we lived closer! :0)
