I thought yesterday was a lot of snow, but today is even more! I took a few pictures yestereday while it was a tad bit warmer. Here is Bob loving the snow, running around during chore time.
Jess started walking the fence to see if it needed mended or if something had fallen on it during the wet, heavy snowfall. It doesn't help keep the animals in when the ice forms on the fence. (that's it running across the middle of the picture)
Sure does make a pretty picture looking upward at the pines.
It is so nice to have part of the barn up for the animals in this cold. Up until now, we have been actually wasting quite a bit of hay on the goats. They are so picky! We have been using buckets on the floor for them to eat the hay and once they pull it out, they don't eat it. It lined the floor to keep them warm, but enough waste! Tom built these feeders for them at work. They seem to work very well! Here are the boys. How can you not love that face?
Here is Roni, one of the does taking a look back for the camera.
So they say it will warm up. Hope it isn't fast as when I took Bob out for his afternoon jaunt, the snow was almost knee deep! Poor Becky. She was to shovel in front of the car so I can get out to take her to dance tonight.. She just didn't want to stop! She did the whole driveway!
Meanwhile, Look who is inside soaking up the sun:
Mama kitty is due anytime....two others are going in for a vet visit tomarrow morning. Mama and her little ones will be the last to fix when it is time.
Friends brought over their little yellow lab that they picked up at the APL about a month ago. Bob had so much fun playing with that pup! Hmmmm...do we need to get him a playmate? We went a visitin' the shelter last Sunday afternoon. Lots of cuties, young and old, but nobody beats my BOB!
Oh, and how can I forget????
My new prize! Tom bought be a new washing machine! Oh, the joy!

Congrats on the new washing machine. The pictures of the snow are gorgeous!!!!
God's Blessings,

The hay feeders look really nice. Goats are a big hay waster if they are allowed to be. You got a lot more snow than we did, but we even got a lot for us. =)
