for Awana was held across town (about 45 miles away) today. Jessalyn participated in written and oral quizzing with her partner, Shannon. There were five churches participating and it went rather quickly, about two hours. My camera isn't the best for zooming in but she is the far right. This is the oral quizzing where they would ask questions and the kids would hold up the correct coresponding letter.
Becky chose to stay at home because she worked late last night. Although she was left with noon chores, she was able to make a delicious chocolate cake for dinner that we added strawberry cool-whip on . Mmmmm!

How did she do? I used to be a CHUM in AWANA a LONG time ago. =) I can still sing the song.
She answered as well as she could. There were a few on the written test that she missed. :o(
Sounds like a wonderful day for your daughter and choc cake, strawberries and whipped cream always sounds good !
