Can you believe

I haven't any pictures to post?  That isn't from lack of being busy here. I haven't even had chances to answer mail from friends!   We have been doing so many exciting things.....like removing the hot water tank and cleaning it.   Ugh, the clay!  Needless to say, we have a lot of pressure now.

Tom had been working on just the lean-to part of the barn.  He has put boards up to enclose just that section so we can move the horses hopefully this weekend.  Just in time as all the snow we have gotten will be melting to muck.   There is room for the goats, but I think they will still be warmer in the houses for now.   Besides, the girls are on a mission retreat up the way.  They are visisting *Newton* for a few days, maybe a few weeks depending on just how much fun they are having.   The poor wethered boys at home.   They miss the girls, but they just can't help them out at this point in time.   So by the looks of all this,   we should be having babies coming in the beginging of June.   A lot later than I wanted, but with the barn not ready I really didn't want to chance them dropping in really cold weather.   Last season one doe dropped her kid early before chores and when we went out,  there they were mama and baby wandering around outside the fence!

Bob has been testing the great outdoors.   For the last few days we have let him out and run around playing with his toy.   He is happy as long as he has his toy.  I think if we were out just walking he may try and run to far.

Purging has occured here too.  I am going through many things that I haven't used in a long, long time.  I hope I have room in the car to get it to the .20 store.  What a good feeling to open the cupboards and see what you want and not having to plow through stuff you seldom use. Why in the world did I ever buy some of this stuff?   Who needs more than a couple mixing bowls and not nine?    Just how many coffee mugs can one family use in a day?   Those companies that make them will never go out of business.  Notice how mugs seem to always find their way as gifts?    Empty or full it seems like they come in handy as a gift for any occasion.

I think I may post on a local  freecycle.   What a great place to find and give away.
