so I decided to do some decorating. Entering our side door into the mudroom you will see this welcoming you> The little guy on the top has a sign saying "Welcome Autumn".
This is at the foot of our woodstove. We haven't had to use it yet! The little guy behind the basket is a scarecrow. !
A long time ago my mom had made this pinecone tree out of chicken wire and pinecones she had collected. She had put small white lights through the wire and they poke out between the cones. Not to be seen as a Christmas tree, but I like to dress it up a little more by decorating it with very small poinsettas and thin garland during the Christmas season, but for fall I decided to try something else. It makes a very good soft light at night. I set it ontop of my Great Grandma's round table and cover it with an antique round doily.
