New babies

have kept us busy.  The stray mamma kitty has brought us four more kittens.  Two orange and two grey.     We also have a new doe born yesterday.   Alpine and Boer.  What a cutie she is!

We are expecting the other two ladies to deliver some time next week.   I expect that it will be the end of the week when I am running my daughter around for her dance rehersals in Erie, or better yet, the night she opens!

We have had on and off again rain which brings the garden up to where it looks really good.   The corn is farther ahead than most in our area, being almost knee high already and it is only the middle of June.   I had tomato plants that I just threw seed down and were coming up but because of my great idea of seperating them, I ended up losing half.     They were mostly for our enjoyment  and not nearly enough to make sauce.  

Being hot already at 7:30 in the morning, fly masks are on the horses and we are off to do as many chores as possible before the sun really breaks though!
