Ah, the highs have been so wonderful! I can even live with some rain as long as the temps are warm enough. This morning, you can see that my daffodils are confused too!
It has been a good few days to try and plow up the pasture for next year, despite the mud!
Seems that even though we have yet to have snow, the hunters still were pretty lucky around our area. We were blessed this year with not only a doe, but also a buck this year. Everyone wants the jerky!
Well, knowing that all good things must come to an end, the cold air blew in this evening bringing snow. It isn't sticking yet, but I can smell it in the air. Earlier this week my oldest daughter helped me stack wood up in the shelter on the porch. We are toasty tonight! Last week she helped me make at least a half dozen doughs for Christmas cookies and we put them in the freezer. I think that maybe this would be a good weekend to get baking!
I have someone that is sending me a box of older Hobby Farm magazines that I hope to curl up and read too. I can't wait to get that present in the mail.

What recipe do you use for your cookie dough? I would like to make some and am looking for a good recipe, if you would share I would be grateful. Thanks, Beth
Gorgeous buck! We've only been able to get a doe and a small buck - but it keeps the competition lively around our house...heh, heh.
I'm on the HSCountry Yahoo list and read your post about noodles - have you tried making any yet? I would love to make our own pasta - anything we can do for ourselves is much better!
Love the little stray kitten - how she's doing?
Have a great weekend,
