Apples

are growing on my tree out front!  Time to make some apple pie for dessert!  There are so many they are weighing down the branches.

This last week has seemed like one whole day.  Running to activities, children to jobs, haying, yardwork, animals.....

Time to sit back and reap some benefits.   The yard is wonderful to look at with all the work we have been doing.  I am starting to work on side and back gardens now.  With mowing caught up we are starting to extend our regular mowing borders and really make a nice big yard!

Our little kitties are wide eyed and playful.   They recognize people and love the attention. Rolling around, mewing.  Oh, I hope that we can do right by them.  They are so precious!

In my crazy world of non-stop I have committed a verse to memory that I had put on my fridge the last few weeks:

" And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Galatians 6:9

Right now it is the ""faint not"  part that is the tough one.  Some days you want to just pull the covers over your head....and sleep!   What's that?   Anyone?

What kind of apples are on your tree? We have planted apple trees, but they are too young to produce yet.
