Some place nice to get stuck in....

Tom brought home a nice heavy wood door for the entryway to the mudroom.  He fixed the doorway so nice this time that he didn't have to make any adjustments to put the door up.  Of course, I had to get over it was too nice a door to use for that entryway.   But I like it!
Up early this morning to supposedly rescue Tommy at the gas station as he was empty.  But, alas, the car gave more grief than that.   I called AAA and they towed it home.
Tommy had left early yesterday morning to go looking for a job, found one, but it was third shift right there in town.  So since he had the orientation before he could start, he just stayed there.  Long night.   He was lucky enough that his sister had her last PT for her knee.  She stopped by and dropped off some eats to get him through.
Knowing it was a long day for spur of the moment hiring, they let him go at 3 a.m.  He headed to the gas station and that was it.  He waited until 5 a.m. to call for help.
He slept while waiting on the tow and then all the way home.  He went straight to bed and will have to be rested and up by dinner.   They shift is 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.  Guess who will be taking him until hubby waves his "magical wand"  over the car and can hopefully fix it.
Not that things will be quiet here, but I am tired today also and it is so warm you really don't want to do much.  Guess it is rainy day projects just because of being inside today.
