Some place nice to get stuck in....

Forgot to mention the other day when Tom was mowing I grabbed a handful of red maple seeds from the tree out front.
Tommy wants to try and start some seedlings so everyone can have a tree.   Off to a rocky start but finally rolling on the barn roof.  The OSB was coming off like a wasp nest.  I bet the whole first row that came off didn't weigh more than fifteen pounds.  And that is what was under the rolled roofing.
The bottom replaced, working on the rest before any rain comes.
The metal roofing gets ordered Monday. Tommy helped do the bottom row then he took off to Ken's.  We had to miss Lily's post-birthday bash.  I heard Ken was grilling and everything.   I'm glad we made it on her day because we really have to get things in order before winter.  We fell way behind.
We tried to get a glimpse of the big moon event.  With having a lot of trees I didn't think we would see it, but if walked to the end of the driveway it shone down the road as if it was daybreak.
As it rose in the sky we could see it just as well from the side door.
We were in luck until it was about half covered then the clouds rolled in from the storm coming up the east coast.
We never had the chance to see it red like they said it would be, but it was awesome just the same!
