Time to unpack a few more Christmas things. I found this tucked away in a box in my china cabinet when I was cleaning out last week. Mom made it way back in '64, when I was almost a mere one year old. I decided it would be great to put it on top of the piano. Tom is to bring the tree home tonight. Jessalyn is getting a little worried we won't have one up this year!
Dan had his surgery this week surprising all of us by not doing a single, but a quad bypass. All day surgery, but all is going well. He will need a lot of time to recover this time around.
I went into little town to get Tommy last night. He just came in from Miami. Temperature shock! From the 80+ to barely out of the 20's. And the wind was picking up, so it really felt like single digits to come home to. He made it over to Becky's where I picked him up. Visiting with my oldest daughter for a while and enjoyed her decorations she has up. So close, but yet still the last still single Christmas for her this year. Good job on the outdoor lights too!
Afterwards I swang over to Jessalyn's boyfriends house to pick her up. She was on a sick call there visiting as Collin had just had some minor surgery done. I sent along a small loaf of pepperoni bread I had made earlier in the day for a treat for them.So bitter cold, but yet not as much snow as predicted...yet. Since Tommy is staying here as a lay-over for a few days before heading back to his Dad's house, I am going to take him out to get a few bags of coal. Tom wanted enough to carry through until the weekend when he can go pick up a more substantial amount for us. It is so very warm!
Meanwhile, in talking with Sabrina last night, she now has a few days off before starting her new job as a CNA trainee. Today Lily is to head to the doctor's about her ears. Hope that this works for her this time. Two times is too many for a little girl!
