So now you can all have a laugh. I am old. This is how I went to Birthday Dinner. I had ask Jessalyn which looked better with my shirt. Then I forgot to put the matching one in. I wanted to wear the one with gold accent. Ha ha on me. No one noticed. I didn't notice until the next morning when I put my hair up.
Everyone is enjoying the coal stove. Makes it quite toasty in here. Even the newest kitty, Tiny, is crashed out.
Good thing too as a heavy snow reappeared again. Didn't stop Tom from trying to go out archery. No luck over this weekend. Looks like chicken for dinner. Well, maybe not. Tommy went with me to the store and we worked up some goods to make either calzone, or Stromboli. Guess it depends how you want to label it.
I made 1/2 recipe of my bread dough and rolled out small portions of it in a rectangle. Then I spread leftover chicken and biscuit gravy as a base. Then I layered cut up pieces of lunch ham, red pepper, onion, mushroom, and mozzarella cheese.
Be sure to fold ends up first.
I closed it up and brushed it with a little oil, and baked for about 20 minutes. At the tail end of cooking, I sprinkled on some spaghetti cheese and garlic powder. Really good!
