Some place nice to get stuck in....

We have had lots and lots of snow over the last few weeks.   It makes for hard mobility to and from the barn.
Tom picked up a round bale that was given to us for helping out a neighbor.  He and Jess pushed it off the truck and Tom drove it to the barn.
Of course, with all the snow and really not frozen ground,  backing it into the barn was a nightmare.   They ended up getting it to the edge of the barn and rolling it in.   We really didn't lose much, and it has helped out over the last few weeks.   With the trailer empty, on the return trip up to the house they brought some firewood.
Millie ventured out in the snow, but her brother, J.C.  decided it was warmer cuddling up with Blossom inside.

Before vacation time was completely done, Jess and a friend took a day and went to Big Town and many, many stores to play dress up!
For New Years we visited with friends from church.  A little food and playing a game.   Since Tommy's girlfriend couldn't make it over during Christmas week,  she came later on and brought her new quesodilla maker.   It was really good!   For her filling she used chicken, cheese, spices, and sour cream.   It was like making waffles,  you make one and pass it on for someone to eat.  They are so good that it is hard to keep up!
Tom tried going out bow hunting again, but it looks like it will not be a good year for us.
