Happy Birthday Mom!
It is surely different having celebrations so far apart. I remember when family was all together and lived close by. My, how things have changed!
It may have been warm and sunny in the south, but it was what they call warm for this day of the year here, too.
I hurried and did the chores, emptied the wagon, swung around up front and filled it with some more mulch, and threw it around the chicken walkway that had become soft. I was just about to start cutting wood when it began to rain.
I'm having a hard time thinking of things for dinner again. I found a pound of hamburg in the freezer so I made mini meatloaf balls in the electric fry pan. We ran out of propane just as I was boiling the noodles! The other night I presented a new food to the family~avocado. I made a stir-fry chicken the other night using the canned chicken I made and red peppers. A little onion, garlic, and topped with rice and avocado. It was delicious!
