Sauerkraut balls, the best! I managed to make up about 7 dozen or so to be fried later. This is the first year they really turned out well. I used to rely on my Dad making them up and sharing, but with them in Florida, I'm hurtin' here! He helped me out last year with a few tips, and it seems that this year they will be a lot better. Let's just hope they last until New Years!

Jessalyn and I worked hard at making the cookies in a last minute crunch. Poor Santa cookie cutter broke in half this year, and we found we didn't have red for the icing. So we made the best of it by decorating the trees and bells with greens, blues, and yellows. I think Jessalyn did a good job doing the trees! I gathered the rest of the Christmas cookies together. I started with three serving trays full but have manged to compile them into an inverted cake carrier. With the exception of segregating the unhappy melting snowmen that didn't go over as big as I thought.

It will be quiet I hope today as the guy both are working, and Beck is off for the entire day too. I am hoping to get a few hours of vacation time to myself and maybe, just maybe work on the varigated sweater that has been sitting in my knitting bag for the last few weeks.
