our Easter Day

Church service was full on Sunday.  Tom and I had prayer team, so by the time we got into the sanctuary it was full.  The girls had gone in earlier so it was just Tom and I that had to squeeze into a pew.

After Service, we opt out of Sunday school as we were just getting done with a study, and it would be back to studying Romans again.  They were just going to review the last 7 chapters anyway.  Next week we start with chapter 8.

We got home and set up the animals, got the dishes ready, and headed over to Gina and Matt's.  The boys were to meet us there.   She was still very busy cooking away at 2:00.   We girls that were there pitched in and helped shell eggs, set up dishes.   Tom carved the ham to be served.   While waiting for last minute dishes, the guys congregated in the livingroom to do their own thing.

most of the ladies hung out in the diningroom/kitchen.  At least until the announcement of it all being ready.  Then the guys started to mysteriously start showing up.   Tom said the blessing and we were all busy eating.  I got to share Matthew 28 with Matthew there.  It was a good discussion on beliefs and salvation.

We left about 5:30 or so coming home to do evening chores, feeding the dogs and cats.   Ken brought Becky home about 8 or so.  He stopped to pick up Miley before bringing her back.   She is getting big!   We had to put Stupid Stanley outside because he wouldn't stop barking, but Miley and Bob were having fun rolling around on the floor playing.   They both were so tired!  Bob was panting from playing so hard.   I hope it made Miley go home and sleep for Ken!

What a great day to be with family and friends. We went through Romans a few years ago in Sunday school. It is a book that you need to take in small sections to study (at least for me).

Have a great day.
