After the rains

finally came, the sun came out and it was time to go to the garden and see what we could find.

Some other things that are starting to come up and out are the cantalope, butternut, and pumpkins (but I think that they are the wrong color, they may be watermellon!).   I tried something different with the cauliflower too.  I bought knee hi's and put them over the new budding heads.   It seems to be keeping the moths off, and the worms out.  I always have that problem.  Cabbage and broccoli are gonners because the leaves are just getting eaten up.  Corn is about 7 or 8 feet tall with no sign of ears yet.  Maybe some sun will help with that.
