get out and enjoy the cooler air and get things done outside. There is a break in the rain, and the coolness is refreshing to me!
If you look up in the corner, I changed my picture to that of our goat, Clem. This was taken at last years country fair parade. He's such a sweety! We took an old child's red wooden wagon and turned it into a covered wagon for him to pull. We put an oversized stuffed monkey in the drivers seat. It was funny
I added some more pictures to my album. One is of my hubby and I that was taken earlier in the summer. The other folder are pictures my son took with his camera phone when we went up to the mountains in southeren New York this past weekend. My camera can only be used with an adapter, and our "old" camera unexpectly opened and we lost most pictures, so thus is thequalityof these.
We had a lot of fun though. They have quite a nice park where we were. Every year my mother-in-law rents cabins side by side and everyone goes up for a day for picnicing. They have an area that they call the Bear Caves that the kids love to hike on. Up the big rocks you can see a couple of crevices that they think are the caves bear sleep in during the winter. It is truly amazing that places so beautiful still exist.
Back home all the animals behaved. That was a relief after such a long day. I am now milking only one doe at night. I was asked why dry them off so soon, but the younger seems to be dropping enough that it just wasn't worth the effort so I cut her grain back and she is just about done. My big milker is giving enough that even when I go to just mornings it will be enough for all of us. With the children's schedule running, the morings seemed like the best time to do the one milking.
Last night the kids took off to the pasture to ride the horses bare back. What a great time they had! I am glad that my horse can still pasture ride as he has had some bad problems with his foot. The kids are light enough to ride him out there though.

That looks like a beautiful serene place to be! Thanks for posting the picture for us to see!
Maybe I did not read it right, but is the place with the bear caves up there near you?
