Beautiful Sunny Day!

Ah, yes, sunny but cooler!  What a great day to hay!   What a great day to catch up on all the mowing and trimming around the house.  I know that tomarrow I will not be able to move.  It took me about 6 hours over the day to do it all.   I had help with the trimming, thank goodness.  In between though I had to be sure to get that bread made.  I was fortunate enough that the weather cooperated and I could get out 8 loaves this morning.

I made my list and did almost everything but weed the back garden.   If I can bend, that will be for tomarrow.

The girls got a chance to ride in the woods this morning.  That would be so nice!  I miss riding.  I have my horse and his leg is getting better, but I am affraid to get on him for fear I do something to him that I will regret.  He is happy now running in the pasture.   That is all opened up now so all the horses have a lot of room for the moment.  I think that before the first really cold autum day my husband plans on turning over the front half and re-seed so it will be good and thick next summer.  When it is all done, several strings of fence wire will go up so that the goaties will get a chance to run too.  I let them out to roam the yard for short periods, but they want to eat what they are not suppose too!  Even when we show them the way to the thick brush, they pick out in the good yard!

Well, as long as I am at the computer chair, I think I will plug it in for a while before I go to bed.   I have one of those big vibrating ones that my wonderful husband got me for Christmas this last year.  It sure comes in handy some nights!

Heather, is the picture at the top of your page your farm and horses?

A vibrating computer chair... WOW... I might never get up.

Glad you got so much done. I hope you are not too sore.

No, this is just a template. Our acres are more woods than pasture. We actually had to make pasture for our horses.
